SOSNIN BUILDERS
About Tony

From the operating room to the job site.

Before Tony Sosnin ever framed a wall, he spent years in surgery, where every detail is planned before the first cut. That's the standard your home gets.

01

Precision wasn't a goal. It was the minimum.

In an operating room, nobody improvises. Every instrument is counted, every step is sequenced, and the plan exists before anyone touches the patient. Tony Sosnin worked as a surgical technician, a job where discipline, precision, and calm under pressure aren't marketing words. They're the difference between a good outcome and a bad one.

That training left a mark. When Tony moved into construction, he kept the habit that mattered most: plan the whole procedure before you start it. Walk the site. Document the scope. Sequence the work. Then, and only then, pick up a tool.

It's why homeowners who've been burned by improvising contractors tend to relax after their first meeting with him. The questions get answered before the work begins, not after the invoice arrives.

02

Russia to Massachusetts to Southwest Florida.

Tony emigrated from Russia at age twelve and built his life in Massachusetts, where he met his wife and started what would become a family of three boys. Work ethic wasn't optional in that story. It was the whole story.

In Florida, he grew the way builders should: from the tools up. Practical remodeling. Finish work. Carports and storm structures: the permit-heavy, wind-code, inspection-after-inspection work that teaches you how Southwest Florida building actually gets approved. No shortcuts survive that education.

That path led to the Florida Certified Residential Contractor license (CRC1333975), and to a company that builds and renovates under one accountable roof.

Where Sosnin Builders is today.

Today Tony runs Sosnin Builders from Port Charlotte, serving homeowners from Sarasota to Charlotte County. The portfolio is honest: hundreds of renovations, the carports and lanais Southwest Florida runs on, four custom homes completed and three more in process, including a build for his own church.

The company has grown almost entirely by word of mouth. When your reviews say things like “kept us informed almost daily” and “made a regular customer out of me,” you don't need billboards. You need the next neighbor to ask who did the work.

You'll work directly with Tony. The same person who quotes your job runs your job. That's not a staffing limitation. It's the product.

I treat your home with the same protective care a medical team gives a patient, and I'm raising my own family right here in Southwest Florida.

What Tony believes

Five things this company refuses to negotiate.

01

Clarity before construction.

Every project starts with a written scope you can actually plan your life around: rooms, materials, allowances, sequence. If it isn't clear on paper, it won't be clear on your property.

02

A low estimate is a trap.

The classic move is the hook quote: win the job cheap, then let vague allowances push the real cost 30–50% higher mid-project. We'd rather lose a bid than write one we can't stand behind.

03

Ghosting is a planning failure.

Contractors go dark when they didn't plan the job and don't want to explain the mess. Plan properly and there's nothing to hide. That's why you'll hear from us constantly.

04

Coastal code is a mandate, not an afterthought.

Flood zones, wind loads, HVHZ requirements. That's what building here means. It gets engineered in from day one, not discovered at inspection.

05

You deserve a partner, not an ATM.

You're trusting someone with your home and your savings. That's a relationship with obligations: honest pricing, straight answers, and a builder in your corner from first walkthrough to final.

We knew Anatoliy was our guy from the minute we got his quote. Everything was detailed down to the caulking. He kept us informed every step of the way, almost daily. They cleaned up and the job looks amazing. I highly recommend you give these guys a call.

I got 8 quotes after Hurricane Ian. Element Repair was by far the best. He was very professional and kept us up to date on a weekly basis — getting the materials, permits, everything. I am going to use his service for future repairs.

These guys are amazing. They are polite, personable, honest, reasonably priced, super hardworking and skilled. They have now done the first of two bathrooms in my home and I couldn't be happier with the result. They've made a regular customer out of me.

They exceeded my expectations in all areas. My carport, fascia, soffit and siding were expertly installed and my house looks amazing. They showed up on time, worked diligently and cleaned the work area well. They went above and beyond in all aspects of the job.
