Most waterfront and low-lying blocks here fall in an AE flood zone, which fixes the finished floor elevation and often decides slab against stem-wall before a single line is drawn. We read the survey and the flood map first, not after.
Permits, handled: Permits in unincorporated Port Charlotte run through Charlotte County Building Construction Services. We prepare the plans, submit the application, and manage inspections as part of the job. You never stand in a permit line.
